About Radios4Jesus

Radios4Jesus is a Christian organization whose primary goal is to evangelize the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ primarily in Central America. The message is the same ancient message found in the Holy Bible, but the process that we use to share the message is somewhat unique. We give away solar powered radios that are fix-tuned to only one Christian station, Radio Samaritano.

We use the free gift of a solar powered radio and flashlight as a tool to introduce the people to the greatest Gift that was ever given, the Gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. The process is very simple, yet effective. The verses that are used have been chosen carefully and through much prayer and trials.

We come as missionaries from the United States to co-labor with the local churches and pastors. We travel to rural residential areas or villages that do not have electricity, and there is a high rate of illiteracy. We divide into groups and go to each home and simply offer them the free gift of the solar radio and flashlight.

After the radio is received, we ask if we may share an even greater gift with them, the gift of eternal life. We then explain about sin and separation from God. We explain how the free gift was given in the person of Jesus Christ. He died on the cross to pay the price for our sins and He offers the free gift to anyone who will believe. During this presentation we also explain how we cannot earn eternal life; we either accept it or reject it! A question of decision is clearly given to everyone who is interested: "Will you confess your sins and put your total faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation?"

This presentation is very effective because the verses used to explain the Gospel work very well with the analogy of the free radio to allow the message to penetrate the heart. We have witnessed many people accept Christ after the verses are shared. The presentation is done out of a heart of love and with an understanding that if the person doesn't accept Christ today, we want an open door tomorrow for a local pastor to share with them again. Also, the radio will serve to further present the Gospel and God's Word.

As they ask questions or offer objections, we simply go back to the Bible and explain what God has said. If they accept the Lord, we introduce them to the local pastor and he explains about a Bible study that is starting and offers to help in their studying of the Bible. This is very important because the relationship between the pastor and the new believer is essential to their growth. For both those who pray to receive Christ and those who do not, we offer to pray for them and give them Bibles. Everything is done with patience and in love. We want to leave the door open for the local pastor to continue to build the relationship and answer questions as they arise.
