What We Believe

1. We believe the Bible, in its original language, is the true Word of God; it is inerrant, infallible and inspired. The Bible is our only rule of faith and practice.

2. We believe there is only one God, who eternally exists in three Persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

3. We believe Jesus Christ is God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified to make full and final atonement for our sin, was buried, rose bodily from the grave on the third day, was seen by many witnesses, has ascended on high and is seated at the right hand of the Father, ever making intercession for us.

4. We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead who indwells and empowers every believer to live a life of godliness and holiness.

5. We believe that redemption (salvation/eternal life) is NOT by the works of the law or any human merit, but by grace alone (God's unmerited favor) through faith alone (believing, trusting, relying) in Christ alone, without the law.

6. We believe that baptism by immersion is commanded of all believers as an act of obedience, signifying the death, burial and resurrection "in Christ" of the believer. We do not believe in baptismal regeneration, nor do we believe that baptism is necessary to be a believer. We believe that the Lord's Supper is a symbolic act of obedience by which believers memorialize the death of Jesus Christ until He returns.

7. We believe in the eternal security of the believer; the bodily resurrection of Christ and His bodily ascension into heaven where He now intercedes for believers; the pre-millennial return and millennial reign of the Lord Jesus Christ; the judgment and the reality of heaven and hell.
