The History of Radios4Jesus

In 1999 God closed the door to our ministry in Romania where we had been showing the Jesus film and sharing the Gospel. Although we were disappointed, we knew God must have something else in mind, but we had no idea what it could be. Then a friend invited me to explore the possibility of going to Honduras to present the Gospel. We would go from home to home in isolated areas where there is no electricity and a high rate of illiteracy exists. We would distribute solar-powered radios fix-tuned to Radio Samaritano, a Christian radio network. God opened this door as wide as He shut the door to Romania. It appears that Romania was just the first step into missions for us.

There is in Central America a wide open door for the Gospel and an intense spiritual hunger. My heart was broken as I saw how white the fields were in Honduras and so few workers, yet I saw it as an opportunity to serve and to involve others.

Our First Trip
Here is the group that went to Honduras in 2000.
Today almost 30 people go with us on a trip! Praise the Lord!

Calvary Community Church allowed us to be a part of their Mission Quest program from 2001 to 2004. In 2005, Radios4Jesus became its own entity as people from several different churches became involved. We continue to train as one team but each church is the sender of its people. We had 6 churches represented in 2005: Calvary Community Church, Calvary Chapel North Phoenix, Calvary Chapel Black Canyon, Calvary Chapel Maricopa, Trinity Bible, and First Hispanic Baptist.

God has blessed the efforts of the Radios4Jesus teams as there are at least 10 churches planted, thriving and fruitful due to the faithfulness of the Good Samaritan national pastors who disciple the new converts.

We believe with Apostle Paul the Gospel is the only instrument that God uses to save sinners. We therefore teach each team member how to present the Gospel through several training classes.

Over the years God has continued to grow the ministry and we believe that He will continue to so long as we remain faithful in presenting the complete Gospel of Christ.
