Our Destination:
We will be working with "My Refuge Christian Ministries" located in the country of Belize. Belize is a small, friendly English-speaking country south of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, east of Guatemala and to the west the Caribbean coast. Unlike much of Central America, Belize has not suffered violent civil conflict or repression. The population of Belize is multicultural. Our hope is that Honduras will be accessible this year and that we will be able to return.

What We Will Do:
Many of the people of Belize are in need as 33.5% of the population is considered below poverty level. We will be working among the poor just as we have in Honduras by going from home to home in remote villages where people can not afford electricity, giving solar radios fix-tuned to My Refuge and Lighthouse Christian radio stations. Vision4Eternity will be providing eyeglasses to the various communities. Both ministries will be giving Bibles and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His free gift of eternal life.

How We Prepare:
By the time we are ready to leave, the teams are well-trained and equipped for the mission. In order to accomplish this, we must require that every team member commit to faithful attendance at training and team building which extends over the several months prior to departure.

Finances:
Where God guides, God provides. We give advice on how to go about trusting the Lord to provide along with some practical measures. The following costs for the trips are based on departure from Phoenix, AZ and are spread out over 5 payments. There is an immediate initial nonrefundable fee of $150 needed to hold the plane reservation. The cost of the trip is all inclusive; food, lodging, transportation, gratuity, travel insurance, and team t-shirt. (Does not include snacks or other personal incidentals).
