Our Destination:
This year, our June trip will be hosted by FOCUS International - Honduras Ministry. We are very excited with this opportunity to work with an additional group. Please visit their website to find out more about them.

The August trip will take us to San Marcos de Colon, headquarters for our hosts, Good Samaritan Baptist Mission. This will serve as our base where we will return each night. The accommodations are quite comfortable and we are well fed. We fly into the capital of Tegucigalpa and then travel 3-4 hours by bus to the mission. The Nicaraguan border is a short distance from the mission.

What We Will Do:
Each day we co-labor with a pastor in an area who is starting a new work. We go from home to home in these remote areas where there is a high rate of illiteracy and no electricity or running water. We share the Gospel and give each household a solar-powered radio that is permanently tuned to one of two Christian stations, either Radio Samaritano or Radio Cristiana de Guaimaca. The national pastors will immediately follow up and plant churches in these areas. So far, the Radios4Jesus teams have seen thousands of professions of Christ and several thriving and growing churches have been planted as a result.

Minister to the aged and counsel high school boys and girls.

Show the love of Jesus to children who live in poverty through the "Opportunity of a LifeTime" Testimonies program. Visit the ministries feeding kitchens and love on the kids, giving lots of hugs and sharing the Gospel using 'wordless Bible bracelets'. It is a joy to distribute clothing, toys and lots of lollipops!! They also love our puppet shows!

How We Prepare:
By the time we are ready to leave, the teams are well-trained and equipped for the mission. In order to accomplish this, we must require that every team member commit to faithful attendance at training and team building which extends over the several months prior to departure.

Finances:
Where God guides, God provides. We give advice on how to go about trusting the Lord to provide and some practical measures to take. The following costs for the trips are based on departure from Phoenix, AZ and are spread out over 5 payments. There will be an immediate initial nonrefundable deposit to hold the plane reservation. The cost of the trip is all inclusive; food, lodging, transportation, gratuity, travel insurance, and team t-shirt. (Does not include snacks or other personal incidentals).
